Healthcare Reform! What About Seniors and Disabled?

Congress made history on Sunday with the passage of major healthcare reform.

But 465,000 low-income seniors and disabled Californians are still in danger of losing the only care they receive that allows them to live safely at home. And 350,000 California caregivers are still in danger of losing their jobs.

That's because Governor Schwarzenegger is threatening to end the state's in-home care program -- unless the federal government contributes funding for the state in-home care program.

Ask your member of Congress to make sure California gets its 'fair share for homecare' by strengthening the federal contribution to in-home care in our state.
