and the photos were great too, Doug! The only slip was when you wrote I suffered from cerebral palsy. I HAVE cerebral palsy... I never SUFFERED from cerebral palsy. I have struggled against the pictures and limiting judgments of society of being a crip. But that is a righteous struggle! I know that there is a rule in journalism that any piece [no matter the subject] with
a crip involved must have either of the words VICTIM or SUFFER. But it is time to get rid of this unwritten law. After all, if you wrote JANE SUFFERS FROM BEING A WOMAN... JOHN IS A VICTIM OF BEING BLACK [NOT TO MENTION BEING GAY] , expect a shit bath! ah a double standard not of your making!
